Happy Kindness Day!
What a busy Saturday we had after our big nor'easter! Everyone decided to come out and shop. Many took advantage of our fall sale (by the way this is our last week!) and many we're getting a jump on Christmas.
I had hoped to get my flower order in yesterday for Thanksgiving but with Mindy away at her sister's wedding (hope she had fun!) and Dave and Sydney out at Radford visiting Delia and being unusually busy it had to wait until today.

- It is my honor to be the owner of Schmidt's Flowers & Accessories. Schmidt's was established in 1939 and has been a Williamsburg Tradition ever since! I however have not been here since 1939! My husband and I took a leap of faith and did a lifestyle change in 2006 and moved our family from New Jersey where my husband Dave worked on Wall Street and I worked as floral designer. We bought the shop in 2007 and have lovingly restored it to it's grandeur!I also founded a non profit, Blooms That Brighten Inc. I hope you will enjoy going on the ride with us!
